Yes free taster session. If they like it, they join, if not there is nothing to pay

We offer sibling discounts for Holiday workshops

We offer an annual 50% discount to families on low income. Apply for a Bursary funded by the Healthy Fenland Fund. Email Linda@leada.biz

We don’t have a uniform. We encourage members to wear comfortable clothes so they can move freely.

You pay for membership of LEADA which covers a term of classes, paid half-termly, extra events and performances

You can take photographs of your children only, unless you have permission of other children’s parents/ guardians. Photography and recording videos is strictly prohibited during performances

While we understand that your child may be talented, they need to have experienced a classroom environment so they can quickly settle to cooperate and share. Children therefore need to be at Y1 stage, preferably age 6 for their benefit and those who are older.

This class is for adults. Young adults about to turn 18 may be invited to join.

Siblings in different year groups spanning Primary and Secondary schools can attend Upstage. Centre Stage members engage in Drama activities which may not be suitable for younger children. You can discuss this with Linda, the Lead Tutor

There is a small discount for Students and Seniors in Viva classes

Holiday Workshops

Fun-filled Activity days where kids can let off steam, make new friends and create an amazing story using their imagination. Each Workshop has a theme that can be taken anywhere the kids want it to be.

Professional, qualified tutors with enhanced DBS certificates, help the kids to learn Dramatic skills, develop their moves and experience exciting performances with a difference

 

 

 

The House on the Hill Autumn Half term for Young people 11 - 16 year olds

A dark and spooky story about a derelict house, whose owner disappeared. For secondary school students to sink their teeth into.

Friday 27th October 10:00 - 16:00

The Pudding is Missing Christmas Holiday for kids 6 - 10 years old

Everything that could go wrong at Christmas and now even the Pudding has disappeared. A silly, fun-packed activity day where mischief prevails. A chance to be naughty but Father Christmas won’t hear about it!

LEADA provide Inspirational Improvised Drama to enhance Schools’ curriculum. Qualified Tutors with enhanced DBS Certificates engage your pupils and develop critical thinking, creativity, communication and problem-solving skills. Ideal for Literacy, History, Science, PSHE and Play in a Day themed to enhance your School Curriculum.

Events

Family Christmas Karaoke

An evening of seasonal songs to enjoy and sing along with family and friends. A LEADA Christmas celebration with Viva choir. Opportunities to sing your favourites with karaoke backing tracks.

Bring your own party food and drinks. This is a free event for LEADA and VIVA members. There will be a raffle to raise funds for the venue hire and a local charity

Adult Vocal Classes * Free taster session * The Queen Mary Centre * Viva Choir

VIVA LA VOCE vocal classes for adults over 18

A fun Vocal class for those who want to sing better, be more confident and feel good. Led by a professional voice coach, Viva members learn techniques, improve vocal health, strength, pitching, performance, well-being and feel inspired.

Prepare to laugh a lot with new friends, sing songs you love and songs you never thought you would ever sing! Viva perform at local events. You won’t need to read music or audition.

Kids Drama classes * Free taster session * all classes are in the Queen Mary Centre




  UPSTAGE for kids in Y1 -Y6 (turning 6 -11 years old)

Kids let their imaginations run wild as they create original stories with their friends. Supported by qualified Drama tutors, they immerse themselves in exciting roles, being heroes, problem solvers and adventurers. They gain confidence and life skills while having the best time and they get to show what they have done at special events

CENTRE STAGE for young people in Year 7 - 12 (11-17 years old)

They explore more meaty topics: interestingly deep, scarily tense and hilariously dark. Supported by qualified and experienced tutors and role players, they gain confidence and develop more advanced life skills. In this class they find their voice and are heard. They get to share what they have done at special events.

Wednesdays 18:45 - 20:30
